Study of attitudes of the population living in Adjara towards Adjara TV products, 2018

On the basis of the agreement signed with the Adjara TV and Radio Company of the Public Broadcaster, the Institute Social Studies and Analysis conducted a quantitative research aimed at studying the attitudes of the population living in Adjara regarding Adjara TV products.

The main objectives and goals of the research were to reveal the attitudes of the Adjara population regarding Adjara TV, its information, and artistic-creative products and evaluate them with different parameters; Identify the place of the broadcaster in the context of the activities of other analogical means (competition) and identification of the expectations, that Adjarian population connects with the functioning of Adjara TV's public broadcaster;

Quantitative type of sociological survey was used, namely, a mass survey of the population.

The general population of the survey is the population of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara (18 years and above); The primary information was collected through face-to-face interviews; The research tool was a questionnaire that included open, closed and semi-closed questions.

The sample size was 600 respondents. Sampling model was a multi-stage stratified sample.

Fieldwork was carried out on 08-16 May 2018.

Univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis methods were used to process and analyze data.
